Know Him: Chris Smalling

Smalling, nacido en Londres, el 22 de Noviembre de 1989 proviene del Fulham, donde jugo 13 partidos en dos años. Juega de defensa central y ha sido internacional con las divisiones inferiores de Inglaterra.

En los partidos de Pre-Temporada he podido ver y analizar las actuaciones de Smalling con el equipo. A pesar de su juventud, tiene una buena salida con el balón y con el paso de los partidos, ha mejorado en el marcaje.

No creo que este listo para jugar muchos partidos con el primer equipo pero viendo minutos en la Carling y FA Cup, ademas de unos cuantos partidos en la Premier, tendrá el nivel para jugar la próxima temporada muchos mas minutos de titular.

Esto es mas un fichaje de a futuro y que realmente necesitamos ya que una época de renovación esta llegando a Old Trafford y Smalling es parte de esa renovación.

Smalling, born in Londres, November, 22, of 1989 comes from the Fulham, where he played 13 matches in two years. He plays as defender in center of the defense and has been international with lower divisions of England.

In the Pre-Season matches I have been able to see and analyze Smalling's performances with the team. Despite his youth, he has a good exit with the ball and with each match, he has improved his marking.

I don't think he's ready to play many games with the first team but playing some matches in the Carling and FA Cup, besides of some minutes in the Premier League, he'll have the level to play next season many more matches in the starting XI.

This is more a signing for the future and one that we really need because a time renovation it's coming to Old Trafford and Smalling it's part of that renovation.
