Premier League/2010/11/Match 7: Lack of Killing Instint

Teníamos que visitar al Sunderland por la séptima jornada de la Premier League y me sigo preguntando por que a estos tipos les cuesta tanto ganar de visitante contra rivales que (Algunos) eran accesibles, cosa que nos está alejando del título desde el comienzo y que ya es un problema muy serio.

Mientras más pasan las jornadas más me molesto porque siento que podemos que alcanzar al Chelsea pero al final de cada partido nos falta ese último toque con el que acabamos a todos los rivales cuando estaban Ronaldo y Tevez.

¿Hablar del partido? Ninguno de los jugadores hizo nada que valiera la pena mencionar, en cambio, quisiera hablar del Sunderland, un equipo humilde que fue contra todas las posibilidades y si hubiera tenido un poco más de suerte, nos hubiera humillado.

Un 0 a 0 que deja más dudas y nos aleja aun más del Chelsea.

We had to visit Sunderland for the 7eth Match of the Premier League and I keep wondering why in the hell these guys have such a hard time to defeat local teams that (Some of them) weren't a problem, something that makes winning the League a lot harder since the beginning and it's already a serious problem.

The more the matches keep going the more upset I get because I feel we can reach Chelsea but at the end of each match we lack that final touch to kill rivals off like the times of Ronaldo and Tevez.

Talk about the game? Nobody did anything worth mentioning, on the other hand, I want to talk about Sunderland, a humble team that went against all odds and if they had a bit more luck, they would had humilate us.

A 0 to 0 that leaves more doubts and push us a lot more far from Chelsea.

Champions League/2010/11/Match #2: Victory and Nothing Else

A pesar del hecho de que se gano al Valencia en su estadio (Una hazaña muy difícil este año), sigo creyendo que no estamos jugando como se debería de visitantes y hemos perdido puntos por culpa de eso. En este partido mejoramos pero no lo suficiente.

Ferguson uso algunos jugadores que jugaron en la Carling Cup como titulares, tales como Gibson, Rafael o Anderson. Me sorprendió ver a Berbatov sin acompañante pero eso lo hizo más sacrificado pero más lejos del arco. Me gustaron las actuaciones de Park y Nani ya que corrieron mucho y crearon ocasiones de peligro.

El Valencia mostro su autoridad como líderes de la Liga Española y como locales, buscando el partido y manteniendo bajo presión a Van der Sar. El partido se mostro de ida y vuelta pero los "Che" estuvieron más cerca de marcar un gol. No fue hasta que se hicieron los cambios que el equipo se mostro más agresivo y Hernández (Quien entro de cambio) anoto un gol que vale 3 puntos y la punta de nuestro grupo. Pero no hay que volverse loco porque Javier haya marcado un gol porque todavía le falta mucho para ser titular.

Como dice en el titulo, se gano y nada más.

Despite we defeated Valencia in their own stadium (A hard feet in this year), I keep believing that we're not playing as we should as visitors and we have lost points because of that. We improved in this match but not enough.

Ferguson used some players that played in the Carling Cup in the starting Xi, such as Gibson, Rafael or Anderson. I was surprise of not seeing Berbatov with another striker but that made him to sacrifice more but got him more far from the net. I liked Park and Nani's performances because they ran a lot and created many shots.

Valencia showed their authority as Spanish League's leaders and as locals by seeking the match and maintaining Van der Sar under pressure. The match was going back and forward but the "Che" were closer to score. It wasn't until the changes were made that our team was shown more agressive and Hernandez (Who came in as a substitute) score a goal that is worth 3 points and the first position of our group. But we don't have to go crazy because Javier had scored a goal because he needs a lot more to be in the starting XI.

Like I said in the tittle: Victory and Nothing Else.

Premier League/2010/11/Match 6: We Threw it Away

El primer tropezón que había tenido el Chelsea en la temporada contra el City y nosotros al día siguiente lo desperdiciamos. Por mucho que me duela decirlo, el Chelsea en este momento es mejor y debemos aprovechar cada uno de sus tropiezos para tomar la primera posición o esta temporada será un fracaso como la anterior.

Estábamos visitando al Bolton en el Reebok Stadium contra un rival que en teoría era accesible pero este equipo demuestra estar más tenso que Florentino Pérez y Sneijder en un ascensor cuando se juega de visitante, cosa que daña aun mas a una defensa que no termina de funcionar.

El partido empezó muy mal con Zat Knight anotando en los primeros minutos con una imperdonable distracción de Evans, por Dios, ¿Soy el único que piensa que Evans no está ayudando a la defensa? El Manchester lo intentaba pero sin ninguna organización hasta que tuvo que ser el talento individual de Nani que empatara el juego. El segundo tiempo salimos a buscar el partido pero cerca de los 75 minutos, Martin Petrov marco el segundo gol del Bolton. El equipo fue un desastre de principio a fin, con un Berbatov sin muchos balones y un Rooney confundido mientras que Scholes no servia tantos pases como debía. De no ser por ese cabezazo milagroso de Owen, tal vez ni un punto hubiéramos podido sacar del Reebok Stadium, hay que hacer algo pronto o un nuevo fracaso se acerca al equipo.

Chelsea's first slip in this season against City and we waste it the next day. It hurts a lot to say this but Chelsea at this time it's better and we take any slip in this season to take the first position or this season would be failure like the last one.

We were visiting Bolton at the Reebok Stadium against a rival that in theory seem to be accesible but this team prooves to be more tense than Florentino Perez and Sneijder in a elevator when they play as visitors, something that hurts the defense even more because they're not working.

The match started really bad when Zat Knight scored in the first minutes with an unforgivavble distraction of Evans, for God's sake, Am I the only one who thinks he is not helping the defense? Manchester tried it but not with organization until it had to be Nani's individual talent that could tie the game. In the second time we came up to win the match but close to the 75 minutes, Martin Petrov would scored Bolton's second goal. The team was a disaster from beginning to end, with Berbatov not getting passes and with a very confuse Rooney while Scholes wasn't giving so many passes. If it weren't for Owen's miraculous header, maybe we wouldn't have won a single point in Reebok Stadium, something has to be done quick or a new failure is upon us.

Carling Cup/2010/11/Match 1: Higher

El debut en Carling Cup (Donde somos campeones) nos hizo enfrentar a un equipo del Championship: El Scunthorpe. Ferguson estaba en Valencia, observando el partido de nuestro rival en Champions contra el Atlético de Madrid. El equipo seria dirigido por Mike Phelan (El asistente de Ferguson).

El partido fue muy fácil ya que el equipo rival no puso mucha resistencia a pesar de que el Manchester uso varios substitutos y algunos que regresaban de lesión, como Anderson. El único punto negativo fue la patética actuación de Hernández como titular en este partido, muy decepcionante.

En general, fue un partido sin muchos sucesos y que el Manchester termino ganando 2 a 5. Los goles de nuestro equipo serian anotados por Gibson, Smalling, Owen en dos ocasiones (Muy buena noticia su regreso al gol) y por ultimo Park (Quien en mi opinión fue el mejor de la cancha).

A pesar de los dos goles del Scunthorpe, el equipo se mostro fuerte y avanzo sin menor problema.

The debut in Carling Cup (Where we are the current Champions) made us face a team from the Championship: Scunthorpe.Ferguson was at Valencia, watching the match of our Champions League rival against Atletico de Madrid. The team was managed by Mike Phelan (Ferguson's assitent).

The match itself wasn't very difficult because the rival team didn't put too much resistance despite the fact United use many substitues and players that were coming back from injuries, such as Anderson. The only negative point of this game was Hernandez's pathetic performance starting the match, very disappointment.

In general, it was a match without many plays and Manchester ended up winning 2 to 5. The goals were scored by Gibson, Smalling, Owen twice (It's a good news that he's scoring again) and by last Park (Who in my opinion was the best player in the match).

Despite Scunthorpe's two goals, the team came out strong and got through with no issues.

Premier League/2010/11/Match 5: Dimitar, the Genius

Hay partidos que solo pueden ser ganados por las habilidades individuales de algunos jugadores, en partidos con tanta historia como un Manchester - Liverpool, jugadores como Berbatov aparecen a la escena para rescatar a su equipo, marcando tres goles para un muy importante triunfo.

El partido empezó muy tenso, con el Liverpool controlando el Mediocampo gracias a Raul Meireles y Steven Gerrard. No fue hasta más tarde que Berbatov apareció para el 1 a 0 con un buen cabezazo. El partido se mantuvo más calmado hasta la segunda mitad, donde el Manchester mantuvo el control del balón y Dimitar marcaria un gol espectacular para un 2 - 0 que parecía sentenciar el partido.

Unos minutos después, al Liverpool se le otorgo un penal causado por Evans (Este chico no está hecho para el United) y Gerrard no dudo en anotar el 2 - 1. Después volvería a ser Gerrard quien empataría el partido con un Tiro Libre, otra prueba más que demuestra que nuestra defensa tiene serios problemas para mantener un resultado. Para salvar el partido y darnos los tres puntos, fue el genio búlgaro quien haría el gol del triunfo con un cabezazo que vale mucho ya que una victoria contra el Liverpool siempre es más dulce.

There are matches that can only be won thanks to the individual abilities of some players, in matches with so much history such as a Manchester - Liverpool, players like Berbatov appear to rescue his team, scoring 3 goals for an important triumph.

The match started really tense, with Liverpool controlling Midfield thanks to Raul Meireles and Steven Gerrard. It wasn't until later on that Berbatov appear for the 1 to 0 with a good header. The match kept more calm until the second half, where United kept control of the ball and Dimitar would scored the 2 to 0 with a spectacular goal to sentence the match.

A few minutes later, Liverpool was granted a Penalty Kick caused by Evans (This kid is not make to play in the United) and Gerrard didn't doubt in scoring the 2 to 1. Afterwards, it would be Gerrard again who would scored the goal for the draw with a Free Kick, another proof that shows that our defense has serious problems to maintain a result. To save the match and to give us three points, it would be the bulgarian genius that would make the winning goal with a header that worths a lot because a victory over Liverpool it's always more sweet.

Champions League/2010/11/Match #1: Lack of Accuracy

Era el debut en Champions de nuestro equipo, de local ante un equipo histórico como es el Glasgow Rangers, Ferguson presento un once con varios jugadores que normalmente no son titulares, como son Gibson o Fabio pero lo que mas me sorprendió fue la ausencia de Berbatov en lugar de Hernandez.

El partido no tuvo muchas acciones como tal, el Rangers vino a Old Trafford para defenderse y rezar para obtener el empate y nuestro equipo se mostró sin puntería. Los extremos no aparecían mientras que Rooney y Hernandez fallaban cada oportunidad que se les presentaban (Que no fueron muchas para empezar).

El único que pareció entender la importancia de este juego fue Gibson, quien tuvo algunos tiros de larga distancia que en realidad fueron las oportunidades mas claras del partido, en mi opinión, el mejor del partido.

El segundo tiempo fue mas de lo mismo pero con un suceso que en verdad va a afectar al equipo: La lesión de Valencia que lo dejara fuera de las canchas por 6 meses y eso nos hace perder un jugador muy importante por casi toda la temporada.

Ademas quisiera mencionar el bajo rendimiento de Javier Hernandez desde que comenzó esta temporada y que demostró este partido una vez mas. No aprovecho sus oportunidades y ademas de eso no estuvo involucrado en las jugadas del equipo, o mas bien, parecía no interesarle las jugadas del equipo, algo que en el Manchester United no puede permitirse.

En general, se perdieron dos puntos que debimos haber ganado y ya estamos por debajo del Valencia que gano 4 a 0 su partido y a quien debemos visitar la próxima jornada.

It was the Champions League's debut of our team, as locals against a historic team such as the Glasgow Rangers, Ferguson introduced an starting XI with several non-starting players, such as Gibson or Fabio but what shock me the most was the absence of Berbatov in place of Javier Hernandez.

The match didn't have many actions, Rangers came to Old Trafford just to defend themselves and pray to get the draw and our showed no accuraccy. The wingers did not appear while Rooney and Hernandez were wasting every shot they have (Which weren't too much to begin with).

The only one who seem to understand the importance of this match was Gibson, who had some good shots at long distance that actually were the best oportunities we had in the match, in my opinion, he was the Man of the Match.

The second time was more of the same but with a play that's really going to affect the team: Valencia's injury that is going to left him out of the field during six months and that make us lose a very important player for almost the entire season.

I also wanted to mention Javier Hernandez's low performance since the beginning of the season and that became clearer in this game. He didn't took advantadge of his oportunities and he didn't try to get involved in the team's plays, or with another words, he didn't wanted to get involved in the team's plays, something that in the Manchester United you can't afford.

In general, 2 point that we should had won were lost and were already below Valencia, that won his match 4 to 0 and the team that we must visit next match.

Premier League/2010/11/Match 4: Something's Wrong

Voy a ser totalmente honesto y decir que este era un post que yo quería obviar pero debo (Como todos los hinchas) saber aprender de este empate para mejorar en el futuro, es mejor ahora que todavía estamos cerca del Arsenal y el Chelsea.

Desde el principio del partido y principalmente del primer tiempo, el Everton tuvo una notoria superioridad sobre nosotros, haciéndonos difícil salir de nuestra propia zona. El gol de contra de Pienaar fue la prueba de que nuestra defensa no esta falta de calidad pero si de concentración.

Poco después, vino el gol de Fletcher después de un gran pase Nani (Quien a pesar de eso vi muy errado). El equipo no se veía muy bien, con Rooney no convocado por su escándalo (Hablare de eso pronto) y con una defensa desordenada, las cosas no parecían ir bien.

En el segundo tiempo, fueron las individualidades las que nos sacaron adelante, gracias a un gol de cabeza de Vidic y unos minutos después, un gran gol de Berbatov (Quien esta volviendo a su mejor nivel) nos permitía estar adelante 3 a 1 en el marcador. El Everton ya estaba perdiendo su espíritu y el partido parecía ganado pero en los últimos 2 minutos, Cahill y Arteta se encargaron de empatar el partido con dos goles que creo que la defensa pudo haber ayudado mas a Van der Sar y se están volviendo el gran problema de nuestro equipo.

Debemos solucionar esos problemas ahora mismo que tenemos el partido contra el Rangers y el Liverpool en Old Trafford durante esta semana o si no se solucionan, vamos a sufrir mucho esta temporada.

I'm going to be totally honest and say that this a post that I wanted to skip but I have (Like every other fan) to learn from this Draw to improved for the future, it's better now while we're still close to Arsenal and Chelsea.

From the very beginning and most of the first half, Everton had a notorious control of the match, making us to get out of our area. Pienaar's Counterattack goal was the proof that our defense it's not lack of quality but yes of focus.

A little bit later, Fletcher's goal came after a great pass of Nani (Who despite of that I saw very miscue). The team didn't look very good, with Rooney not summoned because of his scandal (I'll talk about it soon) and with a very disorganized defense, thing didn't go very well.

On the second half, it was the individualities that made us go forward, thanks to Vidic's header goal and a few minutes later, a great goal of Berbatov (Who's coming back to his best level) allow us to be ahead 3 to 1 in the score. Everton was losing its spirit and the match look won but in the last two minutes, Cahill and Arteta took care of making a Draw with two goals that I think the defense could have done more to help Van der Sar and it's becoming the team's biggest issue.

We have to fix this issues right now that we have the games against Rangers and Liverpool on Old Trafford during this week but if that not happens, we're going to suffer a lot this season.

News and Gossips: Week #2

Después de haberse acabado el mercado de fichajes y una Fecha FIFA sobre nosotros, hay algunas noticias de interés sobre el equipo.

La noticia mas importante es la cesión de Tom Cleverley al Wigan hasta el final de temporada. Yo creo que es una buena negociación considerando el talento de Cleverley y el hecho de que no iba a ver muchos minutos en el Manchester esta temporada.

Otra noticia es el regreso de Ferdinand a las canchas de juego después de dos meses de lesión en el partido de reservas de este miércoles.

A pesar de que el mercado de fichajes ya ha terminado, nuestro equipo ya esta pensando en lo siguientes fichajes. Su nombre es Steven Defour y es un Mediocampista Belga del Standard Lieja, a pesar de tener solo 22 años, ya lleva 6 años en la liga y es de los mejores del torneo, junto con Lukaku del Anderlecht. Como fichaje a futuro, es una muy buena opción pero en este momento ya contamos con muchos jugadores en esa posición.

Premier League/2010/11/Match 3: There's Only One United

Después de una difícil semana lidiando con las criticas por el pobre juego que mostramos ante el Fulham, nuestros muchachos tuvieron que enfrentar a un rival que no debería causar ninguna complicación, el West Ham United, pero después de la ultima jornada, ¿Quien sabe?

El partido comenzó muy calmado, ninguno de los dos equipos trato de controlar el partido hasta que el Arbitro nos dio ese penal que Rooney no dudo en anotar. Quisiera mencionar el buen rendimiento de Rooney y felicitarlo por recuperar la forma después de una sequía de ya casi 6

meses.

En el segundo tiempo, salimos con la pura intencion de destrozar al otro United. Después de una hermosa jugada de toque, Nani termino la jugada con un gol que terminaba las complicaciones. Ya con un partido ya ganado (El West Ham solo quería que se acabara el juego), Berbatov nos dejo una obra de arte para que todos nos fuéramos contentos del estadio.

En fin, una victoria que nos acerca mas al Chelsea pero debemos seguir manteniendo el mismo nivel para salir campeones, no podemos ser tan irregulares.

After a hard week dealing with journalists' critism about the poor game we showed before Fulham, our boys had to face a rival that shouldn't make many complications, the West Ham United but after the last game, who knows?

The match started very calm, with neither of the teams trying to control the game until the referee gave us that penalty that Rooney didn't doubt to score. I want to metion Rooney's good performance and congratulate him for recovering his shape after a six months drought.

On the second time, we came out with the pure intention to destroy the other United. After a beautiful play of passes, Nani ended that with a goal that ended the complications. Now with a match that was already won (West Ham only wanted the game to be over), Berbatov left us a masterpiece that could made us leave the stadium happy.

Champions League Draws

El día de ayer se hicieron los sorteos de lo grupos de la UEFA Champions League. Nuestro querido Manchester United acabo en el Grupo C, junto con Valencia CF, el Rangers FC y el Bursaspor. Antes de analizar el grupo quisiera decir que este es un torneo que el Manchester debe apuntar ya que no podemos ignorar nuestro paso en Europa y concentrarnos solo en la Premier, no, el Manchester debe pelear por todos los títulos.

El grupo en si no es muy complicado pero si jugamos con exceso de confianza, fácilmente podemos ser eliminados. El Valencia es por mucho el mas complicado, a pesar de las marchas de Villa y Silva, Emery cuenta con nuevos jugadores de calidad como Soldado y Aduriz, ademas de otros jugadores talentosos como Mata y Banega. El Rangers puede ser complicado de local como todo equipo escoses, no hay que olvidar los partidos contra el Celtic hace unos años. Bursaspor es un equipo que esta viviendo un sueño con su primera aparición en la Champions, Turquía es siempre complicada y podemos llevarnos una sorpresa.

Si jugamos concentrados y conscientes de lo que vamos a hacer de visitantes, podemos clasificar sin muchas preocupaciones.

Yesterday the UEFA Champions League's Draws were made. Our dear Manchester United ended up in the Group C, together with Valencia CF, Rangers FC and Bursaspor. Before analyze the group, I want to say that this is a title that Manchester needs to fight for because we can't ignore our way in Europe and just focus on the Premier League, no, Manchester has to fight for all the titles.

The vety group it's not very complicated but if we play overconfident, we could easily be eliminated. Valencia is by any means the most complicated, despite Villa and Silva leaving, Emery counts with some new quality players such as Soldado and Aduriz, besides of other talents like Mata and Banega. Rangers can be complicated as a local team like every scotish team, we don't have to forget those matches against Celtic a few years back ago. Bursaspor it's a team that is living a dream with their first appearance in the Champions League, Turkey it is always complicated and we could have a surprise.

If we play focus and conscious of what are we going to do as visitors, we can classify without much worries.

Premier League/2010/11/Match 2: We Deserved Less

No voy a decir que el partido del domingo fue uno de esos partidos que merecíamos ganar porque la verdad es que merecíamos mucho menos. De no ser por Van der Sar y nuestra buena suerte, fácilmente hubiéramos perdido por tres o cuatro goles.

El partido en realidad comenzó muy bien, con Scholes anotando un muy buen gol pero el Manchester no estaba demostrando nada para estar adelante en el marcador mientras que el Fulham iba reaccionando poco a poco. Ya al principio del segundo tiempo, fue Simon Davies quien empato el marcador y ahí fue cuando se nos vino encima el Fulham con todas sus fuerzas. Ferguson hizo algunos cambios pero ninguno hizo nada para marcar una diferencia.

Recibimos una ventaja injusta con el auto gol de Hangeland y después tuvimos la oportunidad de cerrar el partido con un penal que Nani (Uno de los substitutos) desperdicio. Finalmente, en el ultimo minuto, perdimos los tres puntos con un gol de redención de parte de Hangeland.

Un partido muy gris de nuestro equipo en general pero me quedo una duda al final del partido: ¿Javier Hernandez jugo el partido? Lo vi en la alineación pero no lo vi en la cancha, como lo estaba suponiendo cuando llego, no esta cumpliendo las expectativas.

I'm not going to say that Sunday's match was one of those games that we deserved to win because truth be told, we deserved less. If it weren't for Van der Sar and our own good fortune, we would had lost by three or four goals with ease.

The match actually started very well, with Scholes scoring a very nice goal but Manchester wasn't proving anything to deserved that goal while Fulham was reacting slowly. At the beginning of the second half, it was Simon Davies who tied the score and that's when Fulham react with all of its strength. Ferguson made some changes but no one made any difference.

We received an unfair advantadge with Hangeland's own goal and after that we had the chance to end the match with a penalty that Nani (One of Ferguson's substitutions) wasted. Finally, in the last minute, we lost the three points with Hangeland's redemption goal.

A very gray match of our team in general but I'm having a doubt: Did Javier Hernandez played in this match? I saw in the lineup but I didn't saw him on the field, as I was asuming when he arrived to the team, he sin't living up to the expectations.

News and Gossips: Week #1

Esta nueva sección, "News and Gossips", sera usada para hablar de distintas noticias y rumores que ocurren durante la semana. Obviamente, la noticia de mayor resonancia es la renovación de Nemanja Vidic por cuatro años mas, una muy buena noticia que por fin termina con todos esos rumores de nuestro defensa marchándose al Real Madrid.

Otra muy buena noticia es el regreso de Anderson a los entrenamientos después de su larga lesión, lo que creo que es muy bueno porque Anderson es un jugador que puede ayudar con tantos partidos al año y Scholes y Fletcher no van jugar 60 juegos al año, eso es mentira. Mientras tanto, Ferdinand y Hargreaves seguirán estando fuera por un par de semanas mas. Aparte de esas lesiones, el resto del plantel estará listo para visitar al Fulham el domingo.

En cuanto a la sección de rumores, tres jugadores han sonado fuertemente en la ultima semana mas que cualquier otro para ser contratados: El Mediocampista Portugués Raul Meireles, el Portero Ruso Igor Akinfeev y el Mediapunta Holandés Rafael Van der Vart. El primer jugador es el fichaje mas probable por su precio y por el hecho de que el Porto no lo ha convocado en sus últimos partidos mientras que el portero Ruso es mas complicado porque es figura en su club y muy difícilmente lo dejen ir, sin mencionar que Ferguson ha tratado de ficharlo antes. El ultimo jugador, Van der Vart, es el mas complicado: Con la llegada de Ozil al Bernabeu, Rafa deberá cambiar de aires y ha declarado su deseo de venir a Old Trafford, aunque Mourinho podría contar con el pero al mismo tiempo, no le molestaría venderlo.

Honestamente, no creo que los dos últimos jugadores lleguen al equipo pero el fichaje de Meireles seria el mas acertado porque cumple con los requisitos para ser el substituto de Scholes.

This new section, "News and Gossips", will be used to talk about different news and rumours that occur through the week. Obviously, the most important news is Nemanja Vidic signing a new four years contract with the club, a very good news that ends all those rumours of him going to Real Madrid.

Another good news is Anderson's comeback to trainingsç after his long injury, which I think it's very good because Anderson is a player that can help with so many games at year and Scholes and Fletcher are not going to play so many games per year, that's a lie. Meanwhile, Ferdinand and Hargreaves will be out for a couple of more weeks. Besides of those injuries, the rest of the squad will be ready to visit Fulham on Sunday.

In the Rummours section, three have sounded strongly in the last week more than any other player: The Portuguese Midfielder Raul Meireles, the Russian Goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev and the Dutch Offensive Midfielder Rafael Van der Vart. The first player could be the most possible signing because of his price and the fact that Porto hasn't summoned him in their last matches while the Russian Goalkeeper is much more complicated because he's the main figure of his team and I don't see them letting him go, without mention that Ferguson has tried to sign him before. The last player, Van der Vart, it's the most complicated: With Ozil arriving to the Bernabeu, Rafa will have to change air and he has expressed his desire to come to Old Trafford, although Mourinho may count with him but at the same time, he wouldn't mind sell him.

Honestly, I don't think that the last two players would come to the team but Meireles' signing would be the most useful because he has all the trades to be Scholes' sucessor.

Premier League/2010/11/Match 1: A Simple Debut

Comenzamos esta temporada con el mismo objetivo que nos planteamos cada año: Salir campeones de la Premier League. El rival era el recién ascendido Newcastle United que, por historia, siempre es un rival de cuidado pero nosotros estábamos en nuestro estadio donde siempre hemos demostrado autoridad. El once inicial no tenia ninguna sorpresa y el partido tampoco.

En los primeros minutos, el Newcastle quería sorprendernos y Carroll casi lo hace con un excelente cabezazo. A los minutos siguientes, el Manchester trato de tomar control del juego pero Rooney parece no superar su trauma de la Copa Mundial y no hizo nada en todo el tiempo que estuvo en la cancha. Algunos que si lo intentaron fueron Berbatov, Scholes y Nani, quienes se encargaron de conducir al equipo y lo lograron después de que Berbatov anotara el primer gol del partido.

Ese gol definitivamente mato al Newcastle y pudimos hacer nuestro fútbol con calma y sin ningún tipo de complicación. Con esta calma, Valencia pudo desbordar mas por la banda y proveer de pases a Berbatov y Rooney pero el ultimo seguía desperdiciando sus oportunidades con jugadas individuales sin frutos. Eventualmente, con el United local insistiendo, Fletcher anoto el segundo gol del partido. Desde ese momento ya no teníamos rival y nos fuimos al entretiempo.

En el segundo tiempo, el partido fue como un paseo en el parque, yo no podía creer lo que estaba viendo, yo esperaba una mayor intensidad del Newscatle en la segunda mitad pero simplemente no lo hicieron. Evra empezó a soltarse mas y Nani empezó a moverse por ambas bandas sin ninguna preocupación. Es importante mencionar el debut de Hernandez con el equipo, entrando por un desconocido Rooney, quien debe empezar a superar su trauma estilo Reality que paso en el Mundial para volver a ser el mejor "9" del mundo. Minutos cerca del final, entro Ryan Giggs, quien a pesar de su larga edad sigue demostrando que es uno de los mejores jugadores del mundo, un gran ejemplo para todos los profesionales. Uno minutos después de su entrada, seria el inoxidable quien terminaría el partido con un hermoso gol.

Un muy buen comienzo de parte de nuestro equipo pero no creo que debamos empezar a decir que somos campeones. La Premier League solo esta comenzando.

We started this season with the same goal that we always do: Become Premier League Champions. The rival was the Newcastle United, who, by history, it's always a tough rival but we were on our stadium where we always have showed autority. The starting XI had no surprises and so did the game.

In the first minutes, Newcastle wanted to surprise us and Carroll almost did with an excellent header. In the upcoming minutes, Manchester tried to take control of the match but Rooney doesn't seem to get over his World Cup trauma y didn't do nothing the whole time he was on the field. Some players who did try it were Berbatov, Scholes and Nani, who decided to be in charge of the team and they manage to do it as Berbatov scored the first goal of the match.

That goal definetely killed Newcastle and we were able to play our football with calm and without any kind of complication. With this calm, Valencia could play more in the wide side of the field and give more passes to Berbatov and Rooney but the last one kept wasting his oportunities with fruitless individual plays. Eventually, with the local United insisting, Fletcher scored the second goal of the match. Since that moment, we had no rival and we went to the second half.

In the second half, the match was like park walk, I couldn't believe what I was watching, I expected a bigger intensity from Newcastle in the second half but it didn't happen. Evra started to loose a little more and Nani started to move in both left and right sides of the field without any concern. It's important to mention Hernandez's debut with the team, coming in for a unknown Rooney, who should start forgetting about his Reality style trauma in the World Cup to become the best striker of the World once more. Minutes close to the end, Ryan Giggs came in, who, despite his age, keeps proving that he is one of the best players in the World, a great example to all the professionals. A few minutes later, will be the eternal one who will finished the scored with a beautiful goal.

A very good start of our team but I don't think that we should start saying that we're champions already. The Premier League it's just starting.

Esta es una frase que describe perfectamente como era el legendario capitán Red Devil, Roy Keane, quien fue en las ultimas dos décadas un claro ejemplo de garra y sacrificio en el campo de juego, rasgos que le jugaron en contra mas de una vez.

Nacido en Cork, Irlanda, el 10 de Agosto de 1971, Keane llego al Manchester United en 1993 a la edad de 22 años, procedente del Nottingham Forest después de fallidas negociaciones con el Arsenal y el Blackburn Rovers. Debido a las múltiples lesiones de Bryan Robson en la temporada 93/94, Roy tuvo la oportunidad de jugar con el primer equipo junto con Paul Ince en el mediocampo, ayudando al Manchester a lograr el "Doblete" (Premier League and FA Cup).

Con las marchas de varios jugadores la temporada siguiente, Roy se volvió el líder del mediocampo que contaba con jugadores de juventud como Scholes, Giggs y Beckham. Liderando a esta nueva generación, el Manchester y Roy Keane alcanzaron una gran cantidad de éxitos por una decada.

This is a quote that describes perfectly how was the legendary Red Devil captain, Roy Keane, who was in the last two decades a clear example of sacrifice in the field, trades that backfired him more than once.

Community Shield 2010: No more Blue Man Group!

Era el momento para demostrar que habíamos mejorado a la ultima temporada y que podemos ser campeones en este torneo. El rival era el del siempre: El Chelsea. Para ganarle a un rival de este nivel había que hacer un partido casi perfecto y me alegra decir que estuvimos al nivel de las expectativas.

Desde el principio del juego, el Manchester le dio la posesión del balón al Chelsea pero no lo dejaba atravesar la defensa. Me sorprendió ver a O'Shea en vez de Rafael en el once inicial. Aparte de unos cuantas jugadas de nuestro equipo, el primer tiempo no tuvo muchas jugadas de peligro hasta que Rooney le dio a Valencia un pase espectacular para el 1 a 0.

Después, en el segundo tiempo, Ferguson saco a Park, Owen y Rooney y puso a Berbatov, Nani y Hernandez. Ahora, nuestro equipo buscaba ampliar la diferencia y la encontramos con un gol de mucha suerte de Javier Hernandez, haciendo el 2 a 0.

En ese momento, el Chelsea se nos vino encima y Drogba hizo su aparición desde el banquillo. Los blues tuvieron unos minutos de superioridad muy notoria pero ahí estuvo Van der Sar para detener los tiros rivales. No todas las oportunidades fueron detenidas y Kalou anoto el gol del descuento.

Ya en los últimos minutos de partido, el Manchester tomo control del balón hasta que Berbatov termino el partido con el hermoso gol del 3 a 1 final.

En mi opinión, el United hizo lo que tenia que hacer para ganarle al Chelsea: Se cerro bien atrás y termino el partido con las tres oportunidades que tuvieron. El mejor en este partido fue sin duda Paul Scholes, quien sigue demostrando a pesar de su edad que todavía puede conducir al equipo y defender sin ningún problema.

En general, un gran juego de nuestro equipo y un justo ganador de esta competencia, esperemos que solo sea el principio. ¡Felicidades, Campeones!

It was the time to show that we had improved since the last season and show the fact that we can be champions in this tournament. The rival was the usual one: The Chelsea. To defeat a rival of this level you have to make a almost perfect match and I'm happy to say that we were on the level of the expectations.

Since the begginning of the match, Manchester gave Chelsea the ball possesion but didn't let them go through the defense. I was surprised to see O'Shea instead of Rafael in the starting XI. Besides of some plays of our team, the first half didn't have many dangerous plays until Rooney gave Valencia an spectacular pass for the 1 to 0.

Afterwards, in the second half, Ferguson substitute Park, Owen and Rooney for Berbatov, Nani and Hernandez. Now our team was looking to make the difference larger and we found it with Javier Hernandez's lucky goal, making the 2 to 0.

In that moment, the Chelsea was all over us and Drogba appear from the bench. The blues had a few minutes of very notorious superiority but there was Van der Sar to stop the rival's shots. Not all the shots were stopped and Kalou scored the discount goal.

In the last minutes, the Manchester took control of the ball until Berbatov ended the game with a beautiful goal for the 3 to 1.

In my opinion, the United did what they had to do to defeat Chelsea: They defended themselves very good and finished the chances that they had to score. The best player in this match was without a doubt Paul Scholes, who keeps proving despite his age that he can still drive the team and defend without any trouble.

Overrall, a great game of our team and we're a fair winner of this competition, let's hope this is just the begginning. Congrats, Champions!

All begins where it ended

Desde hace ya 6 años, el reino del Manchester en la liga Premier ha sido compartido con un club que en esta ultima década esta pasando por la época de su historia. Desde hace un tiempo, el Arsenal y el Liverpool han dejado de ser competencia para nosotros y el Chelsea se ha convertido en el rival a vencer. Hemos librado muchos partidos memorables con este equipo, algunos buenos y algunos malos.

La ultima temporada, este fue el equipo que nos arrebato el tetracampeonato y aunque me duela admitirlo, lo lograron porque ellos fueron un equipo mas regular que nosotros. Pero ahora debemos demostrar en la Community Shield de mañana que estamos para recuperar ese puesto que nos pertenece como dueños del fútbol ingles.

En cuanto a los jugadores disponibles para el Manchester, Ferdinand, Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves y Obertan no van a poder jugar mientras que Rafael y Fabio son dudas para el partido de mañana. Los dos delanteros en el once inicial serán probablemente Rooney y Owen mientras que Berbatov, Hernandez y Macheda esperaran su turno en el banquillo. Un importante dato es que se podrán producir 6 sustituciones en vez de 3.

En el lado de los blues, el club dejo varios jugadores que han sido de importancia como son Michael Ballack o Joe Cole pero manteniendo la base de los Lampard, Terry o Drogba. La Pre-Temporada del Chelsea no fue muy positiva: Tres derrotas y una sola derrota fueron una Pre-Temporada que no dejo conforme al entrenador Carlo Ancelotti. Exceptuando la lesión de Cech y a los que llegaron lejos en el Mundial, el Chelsea contara con todos sus jugadores para el partido.

Este va a ser un partido muy apretado, como siempre lo son contra este equipo pero si el equipo se mantiene concentrado y Ferguson hace un buen planteo táctico, hay una muy buena posibilidad de ganar el partido y es algo que necesitamos para saber si estamos para quitarle la liga al Chelsea y pelear por la Champions League.

Since 2004, Manchester's rule in the Premier League has been shared with a club that in the last decade has been going through the best time of its history. As for the available players for the Manchester, Ferdinand, Anderson, Carrick, Hargreaves and Obertan are not going to play meanwhile Rafael and Fabio are doubts for tomorrow's match. The two strikers in the starting XI are problably going to be Rooney and Owen while Berbatov, Hernandez and Macheda will wait for their turn on the bench. An important information is the fact that six substitutions can be produced instead of the standard three.

This is going to be a very tigh match, like all the matches against this team but if the team it's focus and Ferguson makes a good tactic raise, there's a very good chance of winning the match and it's something that we have to know: Are we prepared to take the Premier League away from Chelsea and fight for the Champions League?
