Champions League/2010/11/Match #1: Lack of Accuracy

Era el debut en Champions de nuestro equipo, de local ante un equipo histórico como es el Glasgow Rangers, Ferguson presento un once con varios jugadores que normalmente no son titulares, como son Gibson o Fabio pero lo que mas me sorprendió fue la ausencia de Berbatov en lugar de Hernandez.

El partido no tuvo muchas acciones como tal, el Rangers vino a Old Trafford para defenderse y rezar para obtener el empate y nuestro equipo se mostró sin puntería. Los extremos no aparecían mientras que Rooney y Hernandez fallaban cada oportunidad que se les presentaban (Que no fueron muchas para empezar).

El único que pareció entender la importancia de este juego fue Gibson, quien tuvo algunos tiros de larga distancia que en realidad fueron las oportunidades mas claras del partido, en mi opinión, el mejor del partido.

El segundo tiempo fue mas de lo mismo pero con un suceso que en verdad va a afectar al equipo: La lesión de Valencia que lo dejara fuera de las canchas por 6 meses y eso nos hace perder un jugador muy importante por casi toda la temporada.

Ademas quisiera mencionar el bajo rendimiento de Javier Hernandez desde que comenzó esta temporada y que demostró este partido una vez mas. No aprovecho sus oportunidades y ademas de eso no estuvo involucrado en las jugadas del equipo, o mas bien, parecía no interesarle las jugadas del equipo, algo que en el Manchester United no puede permitirse.

En general, se perdieron dos puntos que debimos haber ganado y ya estamos por debajo del Valencia que gano 4 a 0 su partido y a quien debemos visitar la próxima jornada.

It was the Champions League's debut of our team, as locals against a historic team such as the Glasgow Rangers, Ferguson introduced an starting XI with several non-starting players, such as Gibson or Fabio but what shock me the most was the absence of Berbatov in place of Javier Hernandez.

The match didn't have many actions, Rangers came to Old Trafford just to defend themselves and pray to get the draw and our showed no accuraccy. The wingers did not appear while Rooney and Hernandez were wasting every shot they have (Which weren't too much to begin with).

The only one who seem to understand the importance of this match was Gibson, who had some good shots at long distance that actually were the best oportunities we had in the match, in my opinion, he was the Man of the Match.

The second time was more of the same but with a play that's really going to affect the team: Valencia's injury that is going to left him out of the field during six months and that make us lose a very important player for almost the entire season.

I also wanted to mention Javier Hernandez's low performance since the beginning of the season and that became clearer in this game. He didn't took advantadge of his oportunities and he didn't try to get involved in the team's plays, or with another words, he didn't wanted to get involved in the team's plays, something that in the Manchester United you can't afford.

In general, 2 point that we should had won were lost and were already below Valencia, that won his match 4 to 0 and the team that we must visit next match.

Premier League/2010/11/Match 4: Something's Wrong

Voy a ser totalmente honesto y decir que este era un post que yo quería obviar pero debo (Como todos los hinchas) saber aprender de este empate para mejorar en el futuro, es mejor ahora que todavía estamos cerca del Arsenal y el Chelsea.

Desde el principio del partido y principalmente del primer tiempo, el Everton tuvo una notoria superioridad sobre nosotros, haciéndonos difícil salir de nuestra propia zona. El gol de contra de Pienaar fue la prueba de que nuestra defensa no esta falta de calidad pero si de concentración.

Poco después, vino el gol de Fletcher después de un gran pase Nani (Quien a pesar de eso vi muy errado). El equipo no se veía muy bien, con Rooney no convocado por su escándalo (Hablare de eso pronto) y con una defensa desordenada, las cosas no parecían ir bien.

En el segundo tiempo, fueron las individualidades las que nos sacaron adelante, gracias a un gol de cabeza de Vidic y unos minutos después, un gran gol de Berbatov (Quien esta volviendo a su mejor nivel) nos permitía estar adelante 3 a 1 en el marcador. El Everton ya estaba perdiendo su espíritu y el partido parecía ganado pero en los últimos 2 minutos, Cahill y Arteta se encargaron de empatar el partido con dos goles que creo que la defensa pudo haber ayudado mas a Van der Sar y se están volviendo el gran problema de nuestro equipo.

Debemos solucionar esos problemas ahora mismo que tenemos el partido contra el Rangers y el Liverpool en Old Trafford durante esta semana o si no se solucionan, vamos a sufrir mucho esta temporada.

I'm going to be totally honest and say that this a post that I wanted to skip but I have (Like every other fan) to learn from this Draw to improved for the future, it's better now while we're still close to Arsenal and Chelsea.

From the very beginning and most of the first half, Everton had a notorious control of the match, making us to get out of our area. Pienaar's Counterattack goal was the proof that our defense it's not lack of quality but yes of focus.

A little bit later, Fletcher's goal came after a great pass of Nani (Who despite of that I saw very miscue). The team didn't look very good, with Rooney not summoned because of his scandal (I'll talk about it soon) and with a very disorganized defense, thing didn't go very well.

On the second half, it was the individualities that made us go forward, thanks to Vidic's header goal and a few minutes later, a great goal of Berbatov (Who's coming back to his best level) allow us to be ahead 3 to 1 in the score. Everton was losing its spirit and the match look won but in the last two minutes, Cahill and Arteta took care of making a Draw with two goals that I think the defense could have done more to help Van der Sar and it's becoming the team's biggest issue.

We have to fix this issues right now that we have the games against Rangers and Liverpool on Old Trafford during this week but if that not happens, we're going to suffer a lot this season.

News and Gossips: Week #2

Después de haberse acabado el mercado de fichajes y una Fecha FIFA sobre nosotros, hay algunas noticias de interés sobre el equipo.

La noticia mas importante es la cesión de Tom Cleverley al Wigan hasta el final de temporada. Yo creo que es una buena negociación considerando el talento de Cleverley y el hecho de que no iba a ver muchos minutos en el Manchester esta temporada.

Otra noticia es el regreso de Ferdinand a las canchas de juego después de dos meses de lesión en el partido de reservas de este miércoles.

A pesar de que el mercado de fichajes ya ha terminado, nuestro equipo ya esta pensando en lo siguientes fichajes. Su nombre es Steven Defour y es un Mediocampista Belga del Standard Lieja, a pesar de tener solo 22 años, ya lleva 6 años en la liga y es de los mejores del torneo, junto con Lukaku del Anderlecht. Como fichaje a futuro, es una muy buena opción pero en este momento ya contamos con muchos jugadores en esa posición.

Another news it's Ferdinand's comeback to the field after two months of injury in a Reserve Match this Wednesday.

Despite the Transfer Market's ending, our team it's already thinking on the next signings. His name is Steven Defour and he's a Belgian Midfielder of the Standard Lieja, despite having just 22

years, he has played 6 years in the league and is one of the best of the tournament, together with Lukaku of the Anderlecht. As a future signing, he's a very good option but on this moment we count with many players in that position.
